P.E.T.A. is in the news again and that is just where they like to be. In the best seller "Dreams from My Father" Obama discusses eating dog meat as a child in Indonesia. Today P.E.T.A. made a public statement excusing Obama for eating dog meat because he was just a child. Apparently even the president of the United States must comply with these animal rights nazis' way of thinking so I'm sure old Barack feels much better now that he has been pardoned. Obama needs all of the radical fringe groups he can grab because this election cycle will not be about anything positive. Barack cant tout his record so it will be about negative attack ads against Romney [and we already got a taste of Romney's campaign strategy in the republican primary]. Even Barney Frank has bailed on healthcare reform saying Obama pushed his ideology too hard.
Yes... I'm sure the president is flattered by his P.E.T.A. get out of jail free card but who exactly is P.E.T.A. and what do the stand for? According to the DailyCaller.com;
“A child has an excuse, but grownups all should know by now the disgusting condition of slaughterhouses and fear and suffering that animals endure on factory farms and try a vegetarian diet that’s good for them, animals, and the environment,” Nicole Dao, a spokeswoman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, told The Daily Caller. Ms. [or Mrs.] Dao made mention of the fear and suffering animals endure on "factory farms" and that is a great point. P.E.T.A. ran shelters slaughter 95% of the animals they take in only difference is the shelters adopt out a mere 5% of "rescued" animals. In addition in a world where starvation is widespread the P.E.T.A. shelters don't make use of the meat... The only difference is 5% of the animals make it out of P.E.T.A. shelters and at least these other "slaughterhouses" actually utilize the meat. But P.E.T.A. gets a pass? Again, according to the DailyCaller.com;
Fifteen years’ worth of similar records show that since 1998 PETA has killed more than 27,000 animals at its headquarters in Norfolk, VA.
In a February 16 statement, the Center said PETA killed 1,911 cats and dogs last year, finding homes for only 24 pets.
“PETA hasn’t slowed down its slaughterhouse operation,” said Rick Berman, CCF’s executive director. “It appears PETA is more concerned with funding its media and advertising antics than finding suitable homes for these dogs and cats.”
In a statement, Berman added that PETA has a $37 million dollar annual budget [...thirty seven million per annum and the only managed to adopt out 24 pets, thats over a million per pet].
His organization runs PETAkillsAnimals.com, which reports that in 2010 a resident of Virginia called PETA and asked if there was an animal shelter at the group’s headquarters. PETA responded that there was not.
The thing most radical fringe groups like P.E.T.A. agree upon is hypocritical behavior. P.E.T.A. spends millions of dollars per year on protests, marketing, and other useless activities as they literally slaughter thousands of "rescued" animals. I could adopt out 24 animals on my own utilizing craigslist.com and a budget of $0.00 so I must ask... how ethical is this behavior towards rescued animals by People for the "Ethical" Treatment of Animals? On average P.E.T.A. kills over five animals per day yet publicly condemns any person or group exhibiting the same behavior. It makes sense to me why P.E.T.A. and Obama are such good bedfellows considering their similar behavior.
Both share the idea the America is "broken" in some way, that others need to listen to them because they know better, and Obama and P.E.T.A. specialize in publicly trashing people or groups. Recently Obama made a public statement regarding those who are paying attention to and criticizing Michelle Obama for policies she is forcing on the American public. The president said [paraphrasing], "Attack me fine, but going after my wife is uncalled for." How quickly people like this forget about their own behavior.
According to the Chicago Tribune during Barack's 2004 senate race against Jack Ryan;
In the Democratic primary, Obama found himself the overwhelming beneficiary when the campaign of former securities trader Blair Hull crashed in the aftermath of Hull’s release of court files from a messy divorce. Though Obama has been a passive beneficiary of Ryan’s latest problems [again Axelrod's handiwork involving demanding the divorce records of an opponent to Obama], the Democrat’s campaign worked aggressively behind the scenes to fuel controversy about Hull’s filings [a fellow democrat... they finally found a man willing to do anything to advance his agenda].
My point in all of this is to expose the real Obama. He has tremendous influence over the media and George Soros' money had a lot to do with that. Soros recently gave NPR [National Public Radio] millions to "place a NPR reporter in every major metropolitan city" so as to influence political news nationwide. According to a piece found on CanadaFreePress.com;
The left-wing Open Society Foundations is donating the large sum to NPR for a project being called “Impact of Government.” The project is planning to add at least 100 reporters across the country to cover local state house politics to fill the holes left by the firing of so many local reporters due to the contraction in the field of journalism over the last decade. A NPR official stated this was "enterprise journalism" and as CanadaFreePress.com pointed out... "enterprise journalism" as opposed to what? "Honest" journalism or "non-agenda driven" journalism? Soros' money makes me nervous because the man is an unrepentant nazi conspirator who in a CBS interview spoke of taking his fellow Hungarian jews property and turning it over to his Nazi handlers [direct from MediaMatters.com which is a George Soros media entity that has been shown spinning news on almost fraudulent levels];
Soros: "Well, of course, ... I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn't be there, because that was -- well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in the markets -- that is I weren't there -- of course, I wasn't doing it, but somebody else would - would -- would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the -- whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. Apparently Obama and Soros had a falling out because of Obama's inaction to make big changes Soros envisioned for America. Apparently a government takeover of 17% of every dollar spent in this country was not enough for Soros. Despite this fallout I cannot see Soros supporting any candidate other than Obama and I predict his donation will be in the maximum per individual range. Worse, Soros and the Obama administration will continue to influence the news in this country with bullying and intimidation. Journalist Katie Pavlich recently published a book about Obama's "Fast & Furious" nightmare and exposed multiple examples of "freedom of the press" being trampled by his administration. Apparently when Obama's "people" don't like an article or report by a journalist nothing is off limits including repeated calls to the journalist who them must listen to another Obama official literally cuss them out during a tirade. If that is not intimidation of the media and a crime against this country then I don't know what is.
At the end of the day Obama can have P.E.T.A. because they are just "his speed". He will still get Soros' money simply because he is the incumbent and a democratic with very radical views. In 2003 Soros pledged his time and entire fortune to defeating George W. Bush; Soros is not all powerful because we saw who won the election. Republicans, conservatives, independents, and democrats/liberals who still believe in the sanctity of the constitution must band together because these thugs have no regard for our founding documents. Obama has been quoted criticizing the constitution but his actions over the last 3 plus years as president have shown there is no level he will not stoop to including making threats against the supreme court simply because a few justices questioned the constitutionality of Obamacare. The man is no president, no statesman, and must be defeated in November. We must all dedicate our time because those who want to fundamentally change our society have their "war paint" on. Time to teach them how it feels to be scalped... politically speaking.
